What's New in Version 3.5
Version 3.5, titled "Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns," marks Rover's return to Huanglong and opens the new Mengzhou region — the city of Xuanfang Hold. It's a landmark patch: the debut of the game's first-ever SP character, a new playable Rover element, and the game's arrival on Xbox.
Confirmed by Kuro Games
Yangyang: Xuanling — the first-ever SP (special edition) character in Wuthering Waves — headlines Phase 1 as a 5-star Havoc Sword main DPS, a complete rework of the original 4-star Aero Yangyang. Her sister Suisui, a Glacio Rectifier healer/support, debuts in Phase 2. The Electro Rover arrives as a brand-new Rover element. Version 3.5 also brings Wuthering Waves to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Cloud Gaming, and Game Pass with cross-save — the game's first console-family expansion beyond PC and mobile.
Banner schedule
The confirmed 3.5 banner schedule: Phase 1 (from July 10) features Yangyang: Xuanling with her signature weapon Azure Oath, alongside rerun banners for Luuk Herssen and Lynae. Phase 2 features Suisui alongside Aemeath's first rerun. A special Starpath Reverb banner also runs, featuring six 1.x Huanglong characters (Jinhsi, Jiyan, Yinlin, Xiangli Yao, Zhezhi, Changli) with a free 10-pull and separate pity.
The 3.5 livestream aired June 26, 2026 and dropped three codes: MECHANISMCITY, INTOTHEFOG, and REUNION — 300 Astrites total. Those expired June 28, 2026. No separate launch-day codes were issued for 3.5, so the next new codes are expected during the 3.6 livestream (~August 2026). See the Livestream Code Archive for full reward details.
